According to Tibetan Customs, on the first day of arrival you’ll pray for a happy beginning of your marriage or relationship.
Stroll along the wooden path in flowers, and relax in picturesque forests with waterfalls. Relish some of the cosiest accommodations and delicious local food.
Feed marmots, a common funny wild animal in Tibetan plateau; watch mandarin ducks, a symbol of affectionate couple in China; ride horses in grasslands.
Watch minority nationalities sing and dancing, experience their costumes.
On arrival of Xiahe, you’ll be greeted by a local Tibetan guide, who will show you around the famous Labrang Monastery, and enjoy a panoramic view on the top of Gongtang Pagoda. Afterwards, you’ll burn aromatic plants to please angels /spirits in the universe, and ask a Tibetan monk to pray for a happy, lasting relationship for both of you. To spend the night, you’ll be entertained at Nangma Hall, to have a taste of Tibetan cuisine and folk dance.
Darzong Lake to Sangke Grasslands
In the morning, you’ll arrive the beautiful holy lake Darzong surrounded by forests. There you can take photos and feed marmots, even play with these cute animals. In the afternoon, try horse-riding on Sangke Grasslands. Dwelling in a European style villa or tent, you’ll enjoy a candle dinner under starlight, or dance with locals around a campfire.
Dzitsa stone forest to Drakarnang Valley
After two hours ride, you’ll find yourself immersing in picturesque nature. Stroll along the long wooden path in the valley, passing through forest, waterfalls and stone bridges, at the end you’ll have a delicious lunch together. In the afternoon, enjoy a different but delightful view at Drakarnang Valley, perhaps do a bit hiking before checking in a Tibetan manor and taste local dishes such as Juema pork and wild mushroom soup.
Flower Lake to Dzonge Grasslands
Watch mandarin ducks at the Flower Lake before cruising through the vast Dzonge Grasslands. On arrival of Tangkor, have a taste of carp caught from the Yellow River, following a splendid view of the sunset on the first bend of the Yellow River. Stay overnight at a Tibetan luxury hotel or tent.
Rongtark Beauty’s Valley to Mt. Bumozhi
Pass the Moon Valley and picturesque grasslands at Mewa, before you arrive Rongtark Beauty’s Valley, one of the most beautiful villages in China. Take pictures at the splendid stone houses scattering in the valley, or maybe encounter a local beauty in the village, then drive to Mt. Bumozhi. Dwelling at a wooden house beneath the mountain.
Mount Bumozhi (Four Maiden’s Mountain)
Enjoy a private time today, admiring the four “girl-like” peaks, or taking an excursion along one of the famous trekking trail. Along the way you may encounter a panda, or have a glimpse of a snow leopard, and 300 varieties birds there.
After a week journey you’ll arrive Chengdu, where you can have a taste of Chinese Fondue and various specialties of Sicuan Cuisine, one of eight Cuisines in China. Stay at a romantic boutique hotel for a night before ending the tour.
